Scorpion
Scorpions only react
in case of self-defense. They will never lay traps for you. Most Manzanillo
folks have rarely seen a scorpion not to mention, never stung. They keep it in
perspective. The scorpion is just another pest.
There are over 100
species of Mexican scorpions, out of them six are dangerous. One of it is known
as the Colima, highly poisonous. Well that the species doesn't matter, see a
Doctor ASAP!!!
Scorpions are a small species
that fits into the arachnid class with spiders and other insects with eight
legs. There are 13 families of scorpions of total over 1,700 described species.
Finding one of the little guys around your home can do panic many people. While
all scorpions contain venom that is used for paralyzing or killing their prey,
not all scorpions are deadly to humans. These scary little arthropods can be
found occupying ever landmass in the world except for Antarctica. North America
is only home to one of these poisonous species, which is found mostly in the
southwestern United States.
